So many comments has landed for Tunnels. In New York Magazine, it’s said, “..’The Next Harry Potter’ that will gonna be Hollywood anesthetist sooner”. And Andrea Hirata, an Indonesian novelist who has a best seller novel, Tetralogi Laskar Pelangi, was said, “A great adventure. Read this Tunnels just like watching a movie.”

The authors of Tunnels was a bestfriend who likes archaeology and has an obsession to wrote about underground life. So, this novel was told about it. I’ve just read a few sheets and really excited to this book.

Tunnels has been translated to 21 languages. And also has become best seller book in France, Romania and Republic of Ceko. Tunnels was published on December,2007, but in Indonesia, it was just released on June,2008 by Mizan.

A little synopsis of Tunnels :

Will Burrows, a teenager 14 years old, with his father, they’re like to digging in tunnels. But someday, his father was disappear in unknown tunnels. Will with his friend try to find him, but they meet a mysterious underground colony. Will they can find Will’s father?

You’ll have to read Tunnels to find the answer. Now, I have to finishing this book as soon as possible, coz’ the rumor said the 2nd book will be published in this year, 2008
