CLOSER – 4TH Book after Tunnels, Deeper, Freefall

Closer is the latest book from Tunnels series. I thought that Freefall was a last Tunnels series book from Roderick Gordon and Brian Williams. Apparently, there’s still another one, entitled “Closer”. Already published in UK in May,2010, but in my country yet

As we know, Tunnels series are international best-seller book and Closer is the fourth series. Closer – 4th Book after Tunnels, Deeper, Freefall divide the story into five parts, namely revelations, contact, restitution, on the offensive and reunion. Closer still tells the story about Will’s struggle to be free and reach Topsoil. More will be explained below.

Will and friends have difficulties to reach Topsoil due to the existence of two enemy and soldiers around them. On the other hand, his friend, Chester and Martha successfully achieved up to Topsoil. And Drake who was making plans to fight Styx, unexpectedly aided by allies. Will their plan succeed, or even lead to death?

If seen from Closer – 4th Book after Tunnels, Deeper, Freefall synopsis above, it seems Closer still presents suspenseful storyline like the three previous books. Still intriguing, whether Will would live or die. And I can’t wait to see the Tunnels series in their movies

Review Twilight Book & Movie, from Stephenie Meyer

Twilight make me insane, I’ve just drifted by the love story of Edward Cullen and Bella Swan. I know this is just a fiction and it’s a teen novel, but I think there is something that need adult thinks,too.

I’ve watched Twilight two weeks ago and I’m so excited to get to home soon to read New Moon and Eclipse. Lucky me, I have read three books of Stephenie Meyer now but it hasn’t for the 4th book, Breaking Dawn coz’ it doesn’t published yet in my country.

The story begins from Bella Swan who has moved from Phoenix to Forks. She has to leave her mother,Renee, who has get married with Phil and Bella decided to staying with her father, Charlie, in Forks, the town that she didn’t like at all. But when she fall in love with Edward Cullen, she won’t leave Forks, now she really like the cold weather. Their love is forbidden coz’ Edward Cullen is a vampire and Bella is a human. But Edward Cullen and his family are vegetarian vampire that only prey on animal blood.

This is 5 kids of Cullen family, they’re adopted by Carlisle Cullen and Esmee Cullen :

Emmet Cullen, the lover of Rosalie.
Rosalie Cullen become vampire when she doesn’t have any choice.
Jasper Cullen, he broughted by Alice to join Cullen’s family, the lover of Alice.
Alice Cullen has ability to see the future and the youngest of Cullens.
Edward Cullen has ability to read mind of others except Bella Swan.

In stormy day when Bella and Cullen family played a baseball, there is 3 vampire came into the field. James, Victoria and Laurent are non-vegetarian vampire, they’re different from Cullens. James realize that he smell a human blood..yup, he wants to drink Bella’s blood. Cullen family has arranged the strategy as soon as possible to protect Bella from James. Can Bella be saved from james?

In my opinion, this movie is really great. The points of book are described in movie with well. Like Edward flying, Edward shining in sunshine and the pretty and handsome of Cullen family. I just wondering what if Twilight Saga is making to series in television..it would be great, we can follow the full story of books

The 4th Book of Andrea Hirata (Maryamah Karpov) Has Been Published

In older post, I have posted about Best Seller of Andrea Hirata’s Book. Now, the 4th book of him has been published this week. Maryamah Karpov (Lintang’s Dreams), that’s the title. When I’ve got this book, I’m so happy coz’ I’ve waited it for a long time and so happy,too when I can get this book for the first edition, November 2008.

The 4th Book of Andrea Hirata is telling about A Ling , Arai, Lintang and
Laskar Pelangi. Especially for A Ling, Ikal’s first love, can both of them met someday? When I read about this in back cover of the book, there’s one thing, only one thing, I have to read this book immediately after I’ve finishing Twilight

Now, the tetralogy of Laskar Pelangi has been completed (Laskar Pelangi, Sang Pemimpi, Edensor and Maryamah Karpov). So, have you read Maryamah Karpov? How you feel about it?

Do you like Harry Potter? If so, you’ll be like to read this book, too. Tunnels. A great novel from Roderick Gordon and Brian Williams. This novel was found by Barry Cunningham, editor of Harry Potter discoverer.

So many comments has landed for Tunnels. In New York Magazine, it’s said, “..’The Next Harry Potter’ that will gonna be Hollywood anesthetist sooner”. And Andrea Hirata, an Indonesian novelist who has a best seller novel, Tetralogi Laskar Pelangi, was said, “A great adventure. Read this Tunnels just like watching a movie.”

The authors of Tunnels was a bestfriend who likes archaeology and has an obsession to wrote about underground life. So, this novel was told about it. I’ve just read a few sheets and really excited to this book.

Tunnels has been translated to 21 languages. And also has become best seller book in France, Romania and Republic of Ceko. Tunnels was published on December,2007, but in Indonesia, it was just released on June,2008 by Mizan.

A little synopsis of Tunnels :

Will Burrows, a teenager 14 years old, with his father, they’re like to digging in tunnels. But someday, his father was disappear in unknown tunnels. Will with his friend try to find him, but they meet a mysterious underground colony. Will they can find Will’s father?

You’ll have to read Tunnels to find the answer. Now, I have to finishing this book as soon as possible, coz’ the rumor said the 2nd book will be published in this year, 2008

Best Seller of Andrea Hirata’s Book in Indonesia

Andrea Hirata is a science novelist. It’s shown on his books. Everybody’s get excited after read his book with so many georgeous word, including my self. Make me speechless, just give my two thumbs for him

Until this day, Andrea Hirata has launching 3 books. Here they are :

Book 1 : Laskar Pelangi

This first book is telling about Ikal-nickname of Hirata and 9 his friends which called Laskar Pelangi. Actually, this first book is the global description of his 3 other books.

Book 2 : Sang Pemimpi

The second book is telling about how Ikal and Arai (his cousin) reach their dreams. Sweet dreams. A long journey to get what they want, to study in Sorbonne, France. Even you’re poor, there is no reason for you to have a dream like the other. Everybody can have it

Book 3 : Edensor

And this book is telling about the life of Ikal and Arai who has studying in France. About their experience in exploring Europe with restricted condition. In this book, Ikal found his dreamland (Edensor) finally..

Book 4 : Maryamah Karpov

This book is the last of his tetralogy book. It’s telling about the daughter of Maryamah who can playing violin with well. It will launching on August 2008 maybe.

The books of Andrea Hirata is really georgeus. About his with poor family and high struggle until he’s success now. I can’t wait to read his fourth book, Maryamah Karpov
