But doesn’t that mean you’re also required to be awake for those 24 hours if you make the bacon cheeseburger, playing constantly so you can make it every 5 minutes.

Don’t forget the 15c clean up cost, when calculating profits

I’ve said earlier (paragraph 2), not including the cleaned stove cost, ‘coz the first time playing this game, we’re not cleaning the stove :)

I enjoy the game a lot, and I’d like to point out, ‘Per Son’ That no, you do not have to be on while food is cooking, just be there to start it, and when its done cooking, if it takes, lets say 3 hours to cook something, but your stepping out of the hous and wont be back till four hours, its okay, however long it takes to make, is how long it takes to cook.

One of my “needed stats” is the number of servings each dish provides. It helps me determine how long a dish will last on the counter before I need to replace it. Do you have those stats?

the serving numbers can be found on the cookbook icon on the game.

Also… do you know what effects “Buzz” ? I know that the greater one’s Buzz is, the more customers one gets…and I’ve got anecdotal evidence that seems to say that different foods drive Buzz up faster than others (Pot Roast seems better for Buzz than Burgers do). Any real numbers on this front?

actually, I found my buzz rating going down when i served Vampire Staked Steak, and I have no numbers about this, but I have an allegation, the food with the highest serving numbers can increase buzz rating. dunno!

Thanks for the above answers… yes I know that the servings are listed in the menu – but I am wondering what the servings are for the foods I’ve not yet unlocked. I guess I’ll just have to wait. :)

I have added it for you…enjoy :)

The buzz rating is simple. You get 0.1 for each customer who enters, sits, eats and leaves. If at any point they can’t eat then you lose 1.0. So waiting at the door or sitting at a table that doesn’t get cleaned will force them to walk away and you lose 1.0 cp.

Nothing else effects this. You could have an ugly cafe with no decoration or a lavish affair with expensive decorations. Makes no difference to the game. None at all. The food is the same, the price is the same, the profit is the same. Seems a little bland so lets hope they change this in the future.

There is also the time involved to prepare each ingredient for a food item. While it is only a few seconds, each food item require different number of ingredients which makes for different prep time for each food item. The 24 hours is a good general guide, but you also have to factor in number of prep ingredients for time calculations.

To Nemo, and others who want the numbers including stove-cleaning CP and cost, Bacon Cheeseburgers win both categories.
24hrs = 1,440mins
1,440 / 5min cooking time = 288 cookings per day.
(3+3)+1 = 7CP x 288 = 2,106CP
(52-15)-15 =22c x 288 = 6,336coins

The Gyros give exactly the same CP (14CP every 10mins, as opposed to 7CP every 5) but will only pay out 4,032c each day.

The Guac Chips only yield 5,280c per day, since the stove needs cleaned more often.
(36-10)-15 =11c x 480cookings = 5,280c

I hope this is useful. Happy cooking, everyone!

i have to disagree with the choice off dish for most cp

i am cooking overstuffed peppers every day because in 24 hours i can make up to 6,000 cp points from cooking and serving this dish as its ready in 12 hours u can serve it twice in the 24 hours and you dont have to sit up all night rubbing your eyes from serving chips or burgers every 5-15 mins

i have 13 stoves as i am on lvl 38 preparing overstuffed peppers can get me 598 alone as its 45cp for each dish while preparing times that by 13 dishes

when serving each dish gets me 160 times that by 13 2,080 plus the 1cp for cleaning up 2093 then if your making the same dish again add on the 598 for preparing the dish again

so 2093 + 2093 + 598 + 598 = 5382 cp in 24 hours when serving over stuffed peppers as it is ready in 12 u get to do each off the tasks twice (cooking serving)

i do it as it helps me to level up that little bit quicker while making me 60,000 coins from the dishes every 12 hours

this is just my opinion i find it easier for the level im on as u lvl up u r asked for more cp each time so this may not work as well say ur lvl 50 but im lvl 38 and i think it works well

me,too, sist…overstuffed peppers is my best dish to cook until i’ve got level 42 now with 14 stoves. but let the others pick their choice according to their free time ;)

The best thing to do to get our buzz up and keep it there is have lots of food. I have found that if I keep 4000+ servings out, they buzz stays at 105.0. To do this, you need to close your cafe while you are cooking lots of food. Take your doors off while you are cooking and then put them back when you are ready to serve. Your Buzz rating does NOT go down while you’re cafe is closed. But be prepared. As soon as you open again, the customers will come pouring in. The more food you have, the better. Watch your food levels and seating, not what type of food it is.

Wow, you guys really want to dissect the game? Well, I’ve done a similar calculation but based on per minute CP and per minute profit. Either way, for you guys who have been wondering, at buzz rating of 105.0 (maximum), no. of customers per minute = 16. That amounts to 23,040 customers per day. And that is the amount of food you will need to keep the buzz rating maximum at all times. But then again, why would you want to worry about buzz? There are no bonuses for keeping it up all time.

And yes, I too play a lot of overstuff peppers. It allows me some time with the real world.

For a limited time, the savory stuffed chicken, it’s gonna be Half Time cooked, so it’s 11 hours now, it gives more CP that the overstuffed peppers, and it takes 1 hour less :) (for a limited time)

yups, i’ve got a notification from Cafe World, anyway thanks a lot, friend!

FarmVille issued level 70 max, now your Cafe World has achieved level 49, so I guess Cafe World will be more than 70 :D

Pity the 2 newest dishes don’t really make a difference for high level cooks… If you can already cook fiery fish tacos and powdered french toast, there’s not much use in cooking the 2 new dishes more than once… But i guess if you’re still -lvl40 they can come in quite handy, as they both yield more profit and CP than the caramel apples and shrimp cocktail.

Luckily there are some other super dishes i still need to unlock. I hope to get my hands on that delicious chocolate cake soon :)

until level 51, best dish with higher CP and profit to cook is still Overstuffed Peppers, then for level 52, it goes to Delicious Chocolate Cake. so,you still have to cook the peppers :)

This is a pretty simple game to understand, and I think there are a lot of people above under the wrong understanding of how it works.

The buzz rating is best described by RedGmma, in his/her post. It has nothing to do with type of food, variety of food, decoration of restaurant or anything cosmetic about your cafe. It does, however, depend on your seating arrangement, and the amount of food you have out. For instance, if you have a table with a chair, and then a plant directly on each side of the chair, the customer can’t sit down, therefore he/she will immediately leave. Accordingly, if the servers can’t get to the table, the customer won’t get food, thus making them upset and will cause them to leave. If a customer has a good visit (sit, eat, leave) your rating will go up .1 on buzz. If a customer has a bad experience (can’t get to a seat, doesn’t get served, or no seats available) your buzz rating will go down .5 at a time. So in essence, 1 mad customer = 5 happy customers. The biggest key is to make sure you don’t block your chairs in, so people can’t sit down.

Now, onto the topic about what to cook. This topic heavily depends on how much time you have to remain on facebook. For example, if you have a few days off in a row, you are going to get the most experience points by cooking Bacon Cheeseburgers, Super Chunk Fruit Salad, or anything else that takes 1 hour or less to cook. If you work 5 days straight, and can only get on Cafe World before and after work, then the strategy changes. I, personally, agree that for someone that doesn’t want to live on Cafe World, the best dish is Overstuffed Peppers. It has the highest CP and Profit of any dish over 12 hours, thus making it the quickest dish to level with for someone with a semi busy schedule. Even if I have an off day or two, I still wouldn’t want to sit at my computer all day changing out Bacon Cheeseburgers to level quicker. In conclusion, the dish you should be cooking depends on your level. Some people like mixing it up and cooking 4 short dishes, 4 medium dishes, and 4 long dishes at the same time. The problem I see in this method is that you have to memorize three separate times of the day to get on Cafe World and serve those dishes… Kinda seems like a pain when you can just cook all of one dish at a time.

One last thing… I can’t explain how much enclosing your kitchen with stoves and counters is to your buzz rating. You need to trap your servers and cook in the same space by facing all the stoves (handles) inward and then surrounding the counters around to enclose the area. This is the “instant serve” trick to make your employees way faster, and then you can have a permanent 105 rating all the time.

Just my two cents. Hope this helps a few of you in distress about how to make your time more efficient.
