Storage buildings raising on Farmville game is the new storage expansion that launched today. The storage expansion is available for Barn and Tool shed for this time. And there are coming soon for chicken coop, dairy farm and garden shed.

Storage buildings raising allows you to keep more unused items on your barn or tool shed. It means you can increase the capacity of them. It was 6 items that can be stored in barn and 2 items on tool shed, totally you’ve got 8 items to keep on storage buildings. Now, you can keep more than 8 items. Okay! Let’s talk more about storage buildings raising on Farmville game.

Barn Raising or Tool Shed Raising is an activity to expand your barn or tool shed. There are three stars to complete the upgrading. For the first, you have one star for your barn/tool shed. So, you have to upgrade twice to get the whole stars.

There are two ways to upgrade your storage buildings :

1. EXPAND

Expand is one the expansion storage buildings way by asking help to your friends. Each star needs 10 friends to help you enough and it is limited for 3 days only. It means you must have 10 friends that already helped your storage buildings raising in 3 days.

2. BUY

Another way of the expansion storage buildings is buying FV cash and get a discount for each friend who’s already helped.

Your friends will earn 100 coins when helping you to expand your storage buildings. And when you’ve done with 10 friends that already helped, just go to your farm, and you will get a pop up just like on the picture above. It mentioned that progress 10 of 10. Congratulations! Now your storage buildings capacity has been raised. For each expand or each stars, you will get 140 XP.

When your barn or tool shed get fully upgraded, you will get notification just like picture above :

1. Barn Raising
   • 1st star : you’ve got one already. (Capacity : 6 items)
   • 2nd star : needs 10 friends to expand, limited for 3 days. (Capacity : 11 items)
   • 3rd star : needs 10 friends to expand, limited for 3 days. (Capacity : 18 items)
2. Tool Shed Raising
   • 1st star : you’ve got one already. (Capacity : 2 items)
   • 2nd star : needs 10 friends to expand, limited for 3 days. (Capacity : 7 items)
   • 3rd star : needs 10 friends to expand, limited for 3 days. (Capacity : 14 items)

You can expand storage buildings ONLY one building at a time. After you’ve done with one upgraded building, you can start to expand another one. And if you’re lucky get fast helping from your friends less than 3 days, example just needs a few minutes, you can expand to reach the whole stars in one day only. And it’s still available for your friends that already helped your previous expand, to helping you again on your next expand.

Totally, if you have one Red Barn and one Tool Shed in your farm, now you can store 32 unused items (18 for Red Barn and 14 for Tool Shed).

UPDATE 20.02.10 :
Farmville has update new storage building raising. Now it’s time for Chicken Coop. It’s just like the other buildings raised way. You have 10 friends to help you out in raising your chicken coop for each stage.

You can starting by asking help to your friends with publish like the picture above. There are 2 stages to raising the chicken coop and for each stage needs 10 friends help.

Below is the detail explanation of raising for your chicken coop :

• 1st star : you’ve got one already. (Capacity : 20 chickens)
• 2nd star : needs 10 friends to expand, limited for 3 days. (Capacity : 40 chickens)
• 3rd star : needs 10 friends to expand, limited for 3 days. (Capacity : 60 chickens)

The picture above is my own chicken coop. It has been full upgraded and can store up to 60 chickens. As you can see, the chicken coop now has 3 eggs place. It means, that you have more.. more chance to get a mystery egg.
