When I was a kid, I’m really like to watch Sesame Street in television. I do like Big Bird and Elmo. Their stories are good for children and it was so popular among them as it.
Sesame street is an American educational children’s television series and a pioneer of the contemporary eduactional television standard (education and entertainment). It premiered on Nov 10th, 1969 and has been televised in more than 120 countries. Until 2009, they have received 118 Emmy Awards, a television production award.
On wednesday, Nov 4th, 2009, I saw Big Bird’s foot on Google Doodles. Hmm..I was wondering and find the answer is Sesame Street will celebrating their 40th anniversary on Nov 10th, 2009. Wow! Congratulations!

Today, when I visit their original homepage, www.sesamestreet.org, I found that there is a voting,called “Best Sesame Ever”, the best video of Sesame Street in past 40 years. And I vote for “Happy and Sad”, ‘coz Elmo’s there 
A little fact about Elmo. He is a red cheerful monster and friendly. He has large white eyes and orange nose. Elmo was born on Feb 3rd and he likes playing, learning, laughing and looking at books. He has one pet, which is goldfish and name it with Dorothy.
